Ireland - Wild Atlantic Way

Ross Castle, on the edge of Lough (lake) Leane, changed hands a number of times during the following centuries. Parts were added and removed as it changed from a Tower House into a Garrison. The Castle came into the hands of the Brownes who became the Earls of Kenmare and owned a lot of the lands that are now part of Killarney National Park.
